February 6, 2021 — During a recent conference call for investors and analysts, Activision Blizzard chief financial officer Dennis Durkin had a tease for fans of classic games. Durkin mentioned that there will be plenty of remasters coming this year, and they will be unveiled in due course.Although Durkin did not mention specific titles, Activision has delivered a number of popular remasters and remakes over the past few years, including Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.

Of course, we’ll keep you posted on what’s coming as soon as Activision announces these remasters officially. Perhaps Goldeneye 007 is on their agenda which Activision already remastered back in 2010 and is a title that has caught a lot of attention recently owing to a 2+ long play video appearing on YouTube.

Which legacy titles do you think Actiblizz might be considering for reboots and remastering in the year ahead? Let us know in the comments below.
